Recommended system requirements to install and run Avast Internet Security 2015 on your computer:

• Windows 8.1 (32 or 64-bit); Windows 8 (32 or 64-bit); Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit);(32 or 64-bit); Windows XP SP2, 

• Windows fully compatible PC with Intel Pentium III processor or above.

• 128 MB RAM or above.

• 600 MB free space on the hard disk.

• Internet connection (to download, activate and maintain updates of the program and antivirus database).

Note:Avast Internet Security 2015 is not supported on Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, or any operating systems which are not specified.

Instructions to Install:

Before installing Avast 2015 make sure you are logged in to Windows Administrative Permissions.

• First download Avast Internet Security 2015 by clicking the download button.

• Open file from your download directory i.e. Downloads from your documents.

• Click on avast_free_antivirus_setup_online.exe and run file as "An Administrator".

• The Avast setup will appear. Select Regular Installation (recommended) for quick setup.

• or Custom Installation (for advanced users) to specify the location where you want to install your files.

• Read and accept end user free license agreement / privacy policy and click continue.

• The Avast Setup wizard then creates a system restore point and shows installation progress. It may take a few minutes to complete the installation.

• Once installation finished you must have Avast Internet Security 2015 on your PC. In last step just click done to more further.

• When Avast Internet Security 2015 start running and scanning your computer for first time we recommend you to restart your computer. 
• After restarting your computer when Avast 2015 detects an internet connection, select a firewall mode. Select private if your computer is connected to a home or private network and select connected if you computer is connected with public or shared network.
• We also recommend you to update antivirus definitions from settings >> update >> antivirus definitions.
